Michael and Tasha have felt called to adopt for 5 years but the expectations of their calling have played out much differently than they could have ever known. Busted plans, broken hearts, failed connections, emotional wounds and even giving back a baby that was laid in their arms and brought into their home.
But even still they have hoped for more. That their story isn't over. And in the waiting and in the grey space God continues to shape and mold their hearts to be more like his.
We can fall into a perception that sadness is weak and emotions aren't safe. We have these stories in our head that need to be undone. We have to let go of our unnecessary 'emotional rules’.
Michael and Tasha remind us through their story that no matter the outcome, known or not, it's not a mistake to love. Even when love ends in a broken heart it's not a mistake to love because God uses experiences like this to expand our heart.
